One of the leading creative teams of the Primorsky Regional Philharmonic, laureate of the All-Russian and international competitions. The line-up includes: Honored Artist of Russia Valery Sergeev (accordion), Honored Worker of Culture of Russia Sergey Tokarev (balalaika - double bass), laureates of regional, All-Russian and international competitions Pavel Beloshnichenko (domra), Vasily Korobeynikov (balalaika), and Vladislav Korotun (percussion). The soloist of the ensemble is the laureate of the All-Russian competition Olga Andreeva (folk singing). The ensemble of Russian folk instruments "Sadko" is an incredibly flexible creative team, capable of solving various problems. Its programs very eloquently confirm this. Here, various musical projects of various genres and styles coexist, which makes you wonder how one team can do this. The history of this creative team began in 1986. Over the years of its existence, the ensemble's members have changed many times, but its permanent and constant leader is Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Valery Sergeev, whose name is widely known as a musician, performer, possessing extraordinary performing skills, good taste, and a subtle understanding of the stylistic features of the works performed. He is the author of the instrumentation of many works performed in the ensemble. In 2014, the ensemble of Russian folk instruments "Sadko" became a full-time creative team of the Primorsky Regional Philharmonic, its creative team includes both famous Primorsky musicians and the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts. Today, the Ensemble of Russian Folk Instruments "Sadko" is a permanent participant in philharmonic concert programs. The ensemble's repertoire includes arrangements of Russian folk songs, works by A. Piazzolla, E. Derbenko, A. Belyaev, A. Tsygankov and many others. The rich performing history of the group is adorned with joint performances with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra in the project "Dmitry Hvorostovsky" (conductor - Honored Artist of Russia Konstantin Orbelian), with artists of the project "Tenors of the XXI century", concert programs with People's Artist of Russia Natalia Banova, Honored Artist of Russia Svetlana Sokolova, Variety Orchestra of the Primorsky Regional Philharmonic and its leading soloists, as well as soloists of the State Academic Mariinsky Theater (Primorsky Stage). The high level of professional skill of the ensemble of Russian folk instruments "Sadko" is confirmed by the successful performances of the group within the framework of the cultural program of the XXIII Winter Olympic Games 2018 in the Republic of Korea (cities: Pyeongchang and Gangneung), at the ceremony on the occasion of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of friendly relations between Primorsky Krai and Tottori Prefecture (Japan), at international festivals ("Far Eastern Spring", festival of cultures of the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, Vladivostok; "Amur Autumn", Khabarovsk); as well as in concert programs for special guests of the Governor of Primorsky Krai and the Eastern Economic Forum. In 2019, the ensemble of Russian folk instruments "Sadko" became a laureate of the VI International Festival of National Orchestras of the World and the XVII All-Russian Festival-Competition of Contemporary Music for the Russian National Orchestra "Music of Russia" (Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, Moscow). In 2024, the group received the title of laureate at the International Competition “April Spring” (Pyongyang, DPRK).
